Zusi in English
the latest updates include an English version of the simulator and the route-editor.
you need the latest programme updates
http://zusiforum.eisenbahn-seiten.de/vi ... c&start=26
and latest add-ons (especially no. 23):
http://zusiforum.eisenbahn-seiten.de/vi ... &start=186
(The downloads will be available on http://www.zusi.de this evening as well).
You will then find a directory %zusi%/sprachen/English/sprachen
It contains two more directories, copy them to the %zusi%-dir (some files will be overwritten). When starting sim or editor the next time, they will be English (and there is an English route-editor-documentation by Christian Gründler)

Hello lightrail,
a) Zusi.exe should be release 2.4.3.1
b) inside the ...\Zusi\Sprachen folder there should be 55 files (from "FormAbschliessend.txt" to "readme.txt") and 2 subfolders
Is this really the case on your computer?
The manual for the Driving Simulator is still missing (hopefully to be published soon), but the programm should already be English.
Regards,
Christian

The update procedure is a simple binary patch. Although the file version as indicated by help info or by Windows Explorer is not directly or technically related to the way the patch program verifies the source file version number, it is a convenient method for the user and hence the patch file includes these file version numbers as a file identification info.
So, theoretically, you can have a version of the file that is incompatible with the update, but carries the correct version number. However, apart from not consistently versioned beta files I have never encountered such problems.
Also make sure that your exe is not a compressed file, as thrae are reports that compression may tamper with the checksums that the patch program expects.
Then, you could try and run the update program manually (ZusiUpdate.exe) and see whether you get the same error.
We could compare the exact file size and date of your 2.4.2.2, which may or may not give a hint.
And, as a last resort, you could also retry the update chain from am earlier version (backup). If no backup is available, there is always the CD.

Hi Jason - I had the same problem.Jason-M hat geschrieben:Thanks for the reply Roland.
I do have Version 2.4 (2.4.2.2) but for some reason I can not update it?
What can I do ?
Thanks
Go to the updates page [from the main page it is Downloads, then Updates] and download fahrsimu2430.zip
Install this update first, then the update patch fahrsimu2431.zip
Install them in order and it works.
